Hello, my name is Ariana Akee, I live in Phoenix, Arizona. I am a part of the Navajo tribe. I have lived on and off the reservation so I know hardships and how facing hardships and challenges has helped me grow as a person. I was raised mostly by my uncle, who has taught me strong values and how important independence is. I have seen my mom turn her life around facing many challenges in life which have motivated me to be able to take control of my own life and create something for myself. I'm familiar with other software applications such as Adobe After Effects and Photoshop which have allowed me to explore my creativity through video editing. I have been told to choose a career path that doesn't always feel like work which is why I chose to pursue coding. I have always enjoyed being on computers and doing anything with computers. I know there will be many more challenges that I'll face but I'm willing to do all the hard work that comes with this because I know it will be worth it.
