Hello, my name is Cain Footracer, and I am part of the Native Hawaiian and Navajo communities. I was born in Hawaii and moved to Arizona when I was in second grade. I went to South Mountain High School and graduated with a private pilot's license. During high school I was taking dual enrollment classes at Paradise Valley Community College, and I was also a part of the Hoop Of Learning program that serves Native American students and is designed as a high school-to-college bridge program. I was accepted to go to the Honeywell Leadership Challenge Academy, a Space Camp in the U.S. Space and Rocket Center (USSRC) in Huntsville, Alabama. There, I worked together with high school students all across the nation to build collaboration and leadership skills. After high school I didn't go to college right away because I wasn't sure of my path and worked full time. I know what I want to do now, and I  joined this program because it would be great for understanding video game programming and development. This program will help me gain skills and experience in programming and web design. I am a fast learner, and I am also hardworking and determined. I am up for the challenge for learning something new and doing my best to understand something new.
