Michelle Rodriguez
Hello, my name is Michelle Rodriguez. I'm an ambitious person with a distinctive mix of Mexican and Tohono O'odham Native American heritage. I have always been dedicated to equity and justice, which led me to pursue a degree in criminal justice. Beyond the classroom, my broad cultural heritage has influenced my journey and still inspires and directs me today. I came to love traveling and immersing myself in different cultures as I pursued my academics. I am able to appreciate the beauty of our environment and have a deeper knowledge of the people and culture when I travel. Along with my passion for travel, I also enjoy going to the gym because I place a high priority on fitness in my everyday activities and it has also helped increase my discipline and my overall health. I discovered coding out of curiosity, and it became a skill set highly value. I recognized the potential to contribute to positive change by mastering software development. This ambition aligns with my ultimate goal, which is to establish a nonprofit organization that uplifts women and children, offering essential resources and helping the people who need it the most. Drawing on my own history and life experiences I aspire to empower those who share similar struggles. I am committed to making a lasting influence through my educational, exploratory, and coding path and have a significant impact on other people's lives.
